Many original spare wheel carrier bosses have been damaged as a result of 'rear end shunts' or reversing into walls etc whereby the top threaded section was prone to breaking off. We have come across other examples with missing fingers. Having received one such damaged example from a customer, we have made our own pattern and now offer this part.

The photo shows the new boss on the left which is just awaiting the 8 TPI, 15 degree, 1 57/65 OD thread to be machined.

The T Type variant can be supplied if there is sufficient demand registered.
