Vintage MG Parts have produced an accurate P & T Type petrol tank strap as these are not available to the correct original profile although the originals were crudely guillotined. The original thickness of the strap on the original was the metric equivalent of 1.75mm.

Our straps are made with careful attention to detail including the integral washer design on the body tub tab. These are produced in-house and are in polished Stainless Steel with a strap thickness of 2.00 mm. In addition, our 5/16 BSF part threaded studs have a radius end profile and are neatly welded on to the strap. These are not the 1.00 mm mild steel reproductions with incorrect end profiles.

Petrol tank rubbers for the straps are also in stock.
